Just when you think you are going to have to settle for cheap and uncomfortable or simply an uncomfortable price, someone comes up with something better than both.

Other important features of the Thermalite are:

• After the first inflation which requires a couple of breaths, this mat is self-inflating in normal temperatures
• The valve allows extra inflation for additional insulation in extreme conditions
• The reinforced valve also has a micro thickness brass lining for extra strength and protection against frozen moisture bursting the valve
• Both sides are non-slip Oxford polyester - your sleeping bag grips the thermalite, which in turn grips your tent floor
• The inner Eva foam has been bonded with TPU glue to the outer fabric. This means that there will be no trapped air pockets when deflating, and makes for an even surface once inflated.
• Comes with two bags and a puncture repair kit, just in case the worst should happen
