Looks like people are suddenly very interested in the weather now that a couple of centimetres of snow have been forecast for the south of Britain.

The Met Office website was down today due to a high level of demand from visitors to the site.

Wow! A weather site getting lots of visitors because there is finally going to be some weather to speak of. You couldn't plan ( or perhaps forecast) for it!
